Just like all the other major holidays Easter has gotten some CDC guidelines on how to stay safe this Easter Sunday. What’s different this time compared to all the other major holidays is that the CDC broke it up into two different groups.
The first group of people are those who haven’t been vaccinated. The CDC says “attending gatherings to observe religious spiritual holidays increase your risk of getting covid-19”. The CDC recommends attending services virtually or watching on the television. They also recommend gathering and having a meal only with those you live with, if you must get together with others wear a mask, social distance and wash your hands frequently. The CDC also says if you can gather outside, then that is better than being indoors.
The other group of people are those that have been fully vaccinated. The CDC says you can get together maskless with others that are fully vaccinated. You can also gather with one other household maskless who is not vaccinated. But if gathering in bigger crowds, which is not recommended, then you should still social distance, wear a mask and wash your hands frequently, along with gathering outdoors when possible.
